Well guys, I DID IT! I went on the FlowRider onboard Royal Caribbean’s Independence of the Seas. It was absolutely terrifying but so much fun. We were only cruising to France, Belguim and the Netherlands which meant that the weather was really cold. (It was around 15c which is around 70f).

Apart from being cold and terrifying it was a lot of fun, I even managed to make it to my knees (on my first go!) which I am really happy about.

This was my first Royal Caribbean cruise and I really enjoyed it (lots more to come about that!). I had put off going on the FlowRider for 3 days prior to this video because it looked so scary and was always busy. I finally got up the courage to try. I’m so glad that I did. I headed straight to the hot tub afterward to warm up which was really nice.
